Artist's Description
This is a photo of a group of seagulls just as they took flight. To us it looks like a series of pictures of one seagull in flight down to standing on a rock and then taking off again, but it's not.
This picture was taken at the North Jetty, which is south of Ocean Shores, Washingtion in January 2008.
About Larry Keahey
My love for photography began when I was very young; as the photo shows me reaching for dad's new Leica camera. My 1st camera a Kodak, was given to me by my father back before grade school. The camera even had film in it. The only thing I remember about this camera was that you viewed through the top. Dad was a professional photographer most of his life. So you might say that I have inherited my father's eye to see the beauty of this world. I want to dedicate this page to my best friend, who is also my wonderful wife, Phyllis.
