This photo was taken from American Lake North Park & Marina which is located in Lakewood, Washington and Joint Base Lewis-McChord. There are 2 large parks and both have lakeside beaches for swimming, fishing, or picnicking. In the far distance is Mt. Rainier well covered in snow.
About Larry Keahey
My love for photography began when I was very young; as the photo shows me reaching for dad's new Leica camera. My 1st camera a Kodak, was given to me by my father back before grade school. The camera even had film in it. The only thing I remember about this camera was that you viewed through the top. Dad was a professional photographer most of his life. So you might say that I have inherited my father's eye to see the beauty of this world. I want to dedicate this page to my best friend, who is also my wonderful wife, Phyllis.
