This P-51D American Rose photo was taken at the Olympia Airport, Olympia, Washington air show. As with all old war birds, it was great to watch and listen to the roar of its big Packard Merlin V-1650-7, 12 Cyl, 1,490hp engine.

The camera even had film in it. The only thing I remember about this camera was that you viewed through the top. Dad was a professional photographer most of his life.
