This photograph was taken by my father, Darrel Keahey, back in the early 50's. This photograph was used by the Kodak company for advertisments. Mom used a piece of paper to make a noise to get the kitten to look out. The pitcher and the matching pieces have been in the family for more than a 100 years.
About Larry Keahey
My love for photography began when I was very young; as the photo shows me reaching for dad's new Leica camera. My 1st camera a Kodak, was given to me by my father back before grade school. The camera even had film in it. The only thing I remember about this camera was that you viewed through the top. Dad was a professional photographer most of his life. So you might say that I have inherited my father's eye to see the beauty of this world. I want to dedicate this page to my best friend, who is also my wonderful wife, Phyllis.
